We changed a beer brewery from the year 1570 and half a castle into a modern training and conference centre - The YMCA Europe Training Centre in Litomysl. It started back in the mid 1990s when Y'sMen in Denmark under leadership of Poul Thomsen gave 70 000 Euros for a training centre in the Czech Republic.

Roots for Reconciliation Training Program Developers
The YMCA Europe “Roots for Reconciliation” regional project has entered the third year of implementation. The Georgian town of Sighnaghi was the host of the first event in the framework of the project in 2009.

The YMCA Europe Movement Development System is in place since mid 1990s to encourage and support the growth of relevant, self sustaining and democratic National YMCAs all over Europe, by offering a realistically resourced Begleitung scheme primarily based on Field and Partner Group as well as staff operations in the field.

YMCA Europe 2008 was a week long YMCA festival gathering YMCA friends from across Europe from 3-9 August 2008 in one of Europe's most beautiful cities. The theme of the festival was decided to be REAL LIFE. Have a look what the Festival was like!
